From the 22nd to 24th June, NPS and NCS exhibited as the Norse Group at the 2010 Chartered Institute of Housing Annual Exhibition in Harrogate.
The event is the UK’s premier housing exhibition, focusing on the provision of affordable housing and the development of sustainable communities. The event is the best attended in the UK’s housing events calendar as it brings together nearly 5,000 housing professionals, together with over 300 key suppliers all under one roof. The exhibition showcases the latest products and services in the housing and regeneration sector, with many dedicated features and workshops running throughout the show.
Through our attendance at interactive key conference sessions across the event, including one by Sir Bob Kerslake (Chief Executive of HCA), NPS perspectives and ideas fed directly into the development of an annual 'Housing Pact'. This was formally presented to the Minister for Housing and Local Government, The Rt Hon Grant Shapps MP, on the final afternoon of the conference.
As well as demonstrating our experience and services in the housing arena including Hearth UK, Code 6, Facilities Management, and Responsive Repairs, the Norse Group stand ran a competition for all delegates to enter with the opportunity of winning an iPhone. This comprised a questionnaire for entrants to identify the top five services they believe we offer as a Group. This helped attract a large number of delegates to the stand with nearly 70 entries and one lucky individual taking the top prize with four runners up also receiving prizes. The results will assist in developing our product range of services that both NPS and NCS can jointly offer.
